Messi sends colorful message to fans after El Clasico defeat

The Barca star has spoken out in an Instagram post    Lionel Messi and Barcelona had a somewhat off-kilter performance on Sunday in the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid and the Argentine took to Instagram to let fans know what he’s thinking ahead of the new season.

Despite the tough game at the Camp Nou on Sunday, Messi seems to be urging Barca to keep the faith ahead of the new season.

While the loss, and the display was a tough one to take, Messi is quite right, the season is only just beginning and there is plenty still to play for.

While the arrival of Paulinho has also done little to raise morale, it’s worth remembering that Barcelona likely aren’t a completed team at the moment and hopefully there will be further arrivals too strengthen the team shortly.

A positive message out of Barcelona training is much needed, and much as he leads the team on the pitch, Messi seems to have taken it upon himself to lead off the pitch too.
