Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has revealed that Lionel Messi and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are both doubts for their La Liga clash with Sevilla.
Messi did not feature at all for Argentina during the international break as he sat in the stands for both the victory over Italy and the crushing defeat at the hands of Spain.Ter Stegen meanwhile was in the Germany team that drew 1-1 with Germany, but sat out the 1-0 defeat to Brazil.The goalkeeper is a doubt now with a knee injury, and while Messi's hamstring problem does not appear to be too serious, both still need to be checked up on.
We do not know too much about the physical condition of Messi and Ter Stegen,' Valverde said on Wednesday.'This Thursday they will undergo medical tests to assess their status.'I'm calm about Messi's injury.
