Brendan Rodgers’ Answer To Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo Question Is Superb

Brendan Rodgers gave the perfect answer for Celtic fans to the question of who he prefers between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Hoops boss had 'An Evening With' at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo last week, hosted by TV presenter Eamonn Holmes in front of thousands of supporters.
And they would have heard his brilliant answer to the often overused question of who's better between the world's two best players.
Holmes asked, if Celtic had all the money, who would he go out and buy between the pair. Rodgers took a moment to think about his answer before coming back with this:
Rodgers is, of course, talking about former Celtic striker Dariusz Dziekanowski - who was more affectionately known as Jackie Dziekanowski during his time at the club.
The Polish striker spent three years at the club between 1989 and 1992, earning cult hero status with his performances.
And Rodgers was obviously a fan of his.

Before Rodgers' comments earlier, the latest person to weigh in on the rivalry is Ronaldo's former Manchester United teammate, Dimitar Berbatov.
Despite playing alongside the Portuguese superstar, Berbatov has opted for Messi while hollering a typical Berbatov soundbite.
"Because he's the f---ing greatest," he said about Messi to ESPN
"Ronaldo is brilliant, Messi more my kind of player. He sees the game so clearly. He can score, create, he's the complete player, the best ever probably. If you ask someone older than me they will say Pele, Maradona or Puskas or Di Stefano. But for my generation it's Messi or Ronaldo.
"They're pretty much even, but something with Messi makes me shout 'Messi! Messi!' when I watch Barcelona on television," Berbatov added.
