The super-agent believes Messi should seek his fortune elsewhere
Lionel Messi has been advised to leave Barcelona by super agent Mino Raiola.
The Argentine has agreed to sign a new four year deal at the Camp Nou, but has still not put pen to paper.
Barcelona have maintained that Messi will stay, but following Neymar’s world record move to PSG, the possibility of a club paying his bumper €300 million buyout clause seems realistic.
Railo, who brokered the deal that saw Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku join Manchester United, told Marca: “A player like Messi must try another experience with a different club and prove how great he is.”
“Barcelona must be reinvented again.”
Raiola also shared his views on Neymar’s world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.
“The market, as such, no longer exists. Now it is countries who are signing players and that isn’t football,” Raiola added.
